Marvellous Monday - Yoga - Camping with Cosmic Kids Art - from Mrs. Briggs: Draw a landscape. A landscape is a picture of something outdoors. You could do a fantasy landscape which means it is make-believe, one you’ve created yourself. Or you could go outside and choose something to draw like a tree in your yard. You could include a horizon line. A horizon line is the line that separates the land from the sky.
Terrific Tuesday - Library: read on Get Epic Consider "taking out" a book on camping
Music - from Mrs. Giffard: There are so many great music activities on the musicplay website. This week check out the "listening" activities on the side menu. We've done something similar to "sounds around us" in class and I'm sure they will enjoy this activity. http://musicplayonline.com Thoughtful Thursday - Random Act of Kindness challenge: Be kind to your classmates! Send a picture or a video to me that I can post on Fresh Grade of you saying something kind to the class!
Phys. Ed - Do an alphabet scavenger hunt! Find something that starts with every letter of the alphabet (in order!) as quickly as you can! You can do it inside or outside - just get moving! You can write it as a list, take pictures, or just shout it out!
from Mrs. Robertson: Hey kids! It's time for ALPHABET SHAPES! Grab a blanket, some water, and get outside! Have someone call out letters of the alphabet and then make the letter with your body! The tricky part: If someone calls a letter you have already done, you need to try to make it in a different way. You can also try this game with a partner. Sometimes it is easier (or more challenging) to make a letter with a partner. Challenge: Can you spell your name with your body?
